2 Easy Ways You Can Combat High Blood Pressure Naturally Without Exercise

I was reading an article from MedicalNewsToday about 15 natural ways to lower your blood pressure and was inspired to create an article on high blood pressure that focused solely on the nutritional side of natural remedies.

Why?

Honestly, I wanted to create an article that helped the majority of my customers and readers. In my quest to help people heal themselves naturally from physical ailments, I realized that there are very few articles that targeted people who aren’t smokers or don’t have the ability to exercise regularly.

In this article, there are a few facts that have been considered before creating these five easy steps to lower your blood pressure:

  • Not everyone is a smoker or eats a bunch of refined carbs and sugar.
  • Not everyone can move around to lose enough weight to lower their blood pressure but desire to be free of blood pressure prescriptions.
  • Not everyone is a coffee lover

If you are like me, you may be tired of reading the same steps of exercise, sleep more, and relax.

So… without making you read another 205 words, here are two easy ways to lower your blood pressure naturally.

Drink More Water

Let’s get “the obvious” out of the way. The benefits of drinking more water serve multiple purposes for healthy living.

Your body needs water to heal.

Your body needs water to process toxins out of your body.

Your body is 70% water and needs water added daily to function.

So, if you wish to lower your blood pressure naturally, water is one of the best ways to achieve that goal.

Here’s what you need to do to make your water drinking effective:

  • Drink at least half your body weight in ounces
    • This is something that you can build up to.
      • Start by figuring out how much water you need in a day. (example. You weigh 70lbs. You need 35oz of water every day.)
      • Drink a minimum of 8oz every hour until you meet your target amount. (example. You need 80oz of water. You drink 8oz every hour from 7am to 5pm.)
      • Make your actions intentional for 28 days and it will become a habit.

Tip: If you are not a water drinking, Tea (with raw honey) is a great way to start.

(Alternatively, eating fruits with high water content will also help BUT you should also drink plenty of water for them to have maximum benefits

21 Delicious Potassium and Calcium – Rich Fruits You Must Have In Your Home

Potassium and Calcium are great for combating high blood pressure.

But… Supplements and dairy aren’t always the best option.

Before you go purchase supplements and eat a bunch of dairy products remember that dairy causes inflammation in the body (which is the opposite of what you want).

Tip: If you are and milk and cheese lover, try goat milk and goat milk cheeses! It closely resembles human milk and doesn’t cause inflammation within the human body.

Naturally lowering high blood pressure is easier to achieve when your diet is full of potassium and calcium-rich foods and processed foods are eliminated as much as possible.

Here are a few fruits that you can easily find and eat daily to help your body heal from high blood pressure.

  • Black Raspberries
  • Cranberries
  • Grapefruit
  • Strawberries
  • Soursop
  • Watermelons
  • Pomegranates
  • Muscadine Grapes
  • Oranges
  • Limes
  • Olives
  • Lemons
  • Kiwi
  • Dates
  • Figs
  • Blueberries
  • Bananas
  • Avocados
  • Apples
  • Peaches

Here’s what to do with them:

  • The idea is to eat and drink these fruits as fresh as possible.
    • Frozen also works, but try your best to avoid canned as most of the nutrients are cooked out or is lost in the canning liquid.
  • Make fruits a large part of your breakfast every morning and eat on them for a snack with seed and nuts for additional benefits.

Disclaimer: Get checked for allergies to foods before experimenting with lowering your blood pressure naturally with food. Allergies cause inflammation in the body which can have an adverse effect.
